Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte has said that the state government should impose ‘total lockdown’ and concentrate on long term strategy of Health infra ahead of the third wave of covid19 infection.
Khaunte has also suggested using mask at home as an integral part of our social etiquette.
In a series of tweets, Khaunte wrote “While awaiting ‘Medical Vaccine’ the best ‘social vaccine’ proper masking (covering Nose, Mouth and Chin). Goans should consider Double Masking as well as Masking at Home as an integral part of our social etiquette. #MaskUp Against Corona!”
“Talk of third wave when the 2nd Wave is still peaking is enough reason for Strictest Covid Control instead of a weak curfew. #GoaGovt should impose #TotalLockdown and concentrate on Long Term Strategy of Health Infra Upgradation and Welfare oriented Planning.”
