Panaji: Taking a jibe at Waste Management Minister Michel Lobo, Saligao MLA Jayesh Salgaocar said Lobo should focus on the dilapidated condition of roads in his constituency instead of pointing fingers at Saligao. “Lobo failed to answer the question when a reporter asked him about the condition of roads in Calangute,” said Salgaocar who believes Michael Lobo adopts the policy of ‘If you cannot convince, confuse them’.
Pointing out the blunders in Calangute, Salgaocar pointed out that mangroves are being converted into settlements.
“We have time and again written letters to CM and PWD minister to repair the roads in Saligao,” he said. Speaking about his achievements Salgaocar spoke of the internal roads that he’s built among developments that took place in the constituency however his proposed projects and tenders are being cancelled now,” Salgaocar reckoned.
