Sankhalim: Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Pramod Sawant has refuted allegations that he had violated code of conduct for ensuing civic polls for Sankhalim Municipal Council.
The polls are scheduled on Sunday.
“Sankhalim Vikas Manch is fully confident to win all the 13 wards of the municipality. The people from Sankhalim will vote only for the manch,” he said.
“The opponents are nervous looking at their defeat and hence are making such statements. I was just going around on the road which they have shot on the camera and have termed it as a violation of code of conduct,” Sawant added.
“There is no truth in the allegations. I appeal the voters,” he said.
