Panaji: The streets and beaches wore deserted look on Sunday morning as Goa observed Janata Curfew. Cutting across the party lines, all the leaders have supported the call given by the Prime Minister.
Except for the essential services, everything remained shut down and people waited indoors fighting back coronavirus spread.
Goa has not reported a single case of coronavirus while till Saturday only one patient was in the hospital isolation.
Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday had announced slew of measures including shutting down of road side eateries and partial restrictions on government and private offices till March 31.
