Panaji: Goa’s leading NGO Savera today demanded that Police department should conduct workshops creating awareness about cyber crime amongst the younger generation in the schools across the State.
Savera Chief Tara Kerkar said that the recent workshop conducted by Cyber Crime Cell Superintendent of Police Karthik Kashyap creating awareness amongst NGOs on the issue was real ‘eye opener.’
“We were told in detail of how the Cyber Crime happens and how our younger generation is vulnerable for it,” said Kerkar adding that such workshops should be conducted across the State for the school students so that they don’t remain vulnerable.
“As a President of Savera NGO I am willing to come forwards and assistance required for conducting such workshops,” she has said.
