The event was attended by Reshma Bandodkar, Adhyaksha of the North Goa Zilla Panchayat; Pradip Sarmukadam, Member Secretary of the Goa State Biodiversity Board; Ajay Govekar, Deputy Sarpanch of the Pilerne Panchayat; and Sandeep Bandodkar, former Zilla Panchayat member from Reis Magos, among others.

Speakers at the function said the Herbal Garden would help conserve and showcase medicinal plants while creating awareness among citizens, students, and visitors about their traditional uses. The Mini Amphitheatre is expected to serve as a hub for cultural programmes, environmental initiatives, and community events.

The project represents a collaborative effort of the Goa State Biodiversity Board and the Pilerne Panchayat to strengthen environmental conservation while promoting social and cultural development at the village level.
