Panaji: As State registers over 140 cases of dengue till August, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has urged Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to form a core team to handle the dengue cases, jointly.
In a series of tweets, Rane has thanked Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for his intervention by holding review meeting on the prevailing dengue cases in the State.
Minister said that the health department is doing its best to control dengue through awareness programs and fogging at various places. He said that the focus is on schools, educational institutions and slum areas to do awareness as well as fogging.
As CM directs health department to have proper coordination with local governing bodies, Rane has urged CM to form a core team to handle situations jointly.
