Ponda: Tanay Ajit Prabhu of Goa Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s Smt. Nelly Joildo Aguiar Higher Secondary School has achieved outstanding success in the HSSC (Class 12) examinations, securing 97.33% and emerging as the Goa State Topper, reflecting his consistency, hard work, focus and determination.
Earlier, in 2023–24, he was also the State Topper in the SSC (Class 10) examinations with an impressive 97.50%.
Tanay has also emerged as the Goa State Topper in JEE Main (Session 1) conducted in January 2026, scoring an impressive percentile of 99.825. This result highlights his strong conceptual understanding of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, along with his disciplined approach and ability to perform under pressure.
His ultimate goal is to crack JEE Advanced 2026 and pursue research in space science. He credits his success to his parents, grandparents and teachers, who have been an integral part of his journey.
