Margao: GVM’S GOPAL GOVIND POY RAITURCAR, COLLEGE OF COMMERCE & ECONOMICS, Farmagudi, Ponda Goa emerged as overall winners of PRATIBHA 22 an inter-collegiate Cultural, Literary & Sports festival organized by G.R. Kare college of Law, Margao on 13th April 2022.
MES College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar secured runners up position. The festival was organized by the Students’ Council in association with Literary society and Department of Physical Education & Sports of the college. The theme of the festival was ‘Goan culture and heritage’ and included events such as Bahubali (strong man and strong woman),Yen Velar (extempore), rangtarang (rangoli), vidyalayin Chayachitran (Campus photography),Nyan manjusha(Quiz)and Loknach (Folk dance).
The Festival was inaugurated by Mrs. Joble Bijoy, Principal of the VVM’s Vidya Vikas Academy.
The winners of the individual event were awarded with certificates of merit and the overall winners were awarded with rolling trophy at the hands of chief guest for the valedictory function Mrs. Cintia Maria e Abranches, Principal, VVM’s R. M. Salgaocar Higher Secondary School, Margao. Earlier in the day the event was inaugurated at the hands of Mrs. Joble Bijoy, principal, Vidya vikas academy in the presence of Dr. Saba Da Silva, professor and principal, g.r.kare college of law. Faculty were coordinators for various events and the overall Cordinator was Dr. Shruti nadkarni.
