Panaji : Goa University Post Graduation Students Council has written to the Registrar of Goa University Prof Radhika Nayak informing her about the plight of Third year and Post Graduation final year students and requesting the registrar to cancel the final year exams or conduct them in online mode.
“Many students have lost their family members and their loved ones, they are already going through mental health issues, if exams are held in offline mode there is risk to the student, his family and teachers” said PGSC President Sanmesh Shet.
“The third wave of Covid has already hit other states and it can hit Goa anytime, even after knowing this the exams are kept offline which shows the health of student are taken for granted” Said Shet
Shet asserted that since HSSC and SSC exams were cancelled giving priority to the health and well being of the students of 10th & 12th STD the same should be done for final year students and if that was not possible the exams should be held online.
