Aam Aadmi Party lashed out at CM Pramod Sawant today, holding him directly responsible for the deteriorating situation of drug-fueled rave parties.

Displaying images of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and Ministers posing with Kapil Jhaveri, the host of the Vagator drug party raided yesterday, spokesperson Valmiki Naik read out Jhaveri’s social media posts which had glowing praise for CM Pramod Sawant, Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Tendulkar, Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte, and Art & Culture Minister Govind Gaude. Naik stated that while the images established a relationship, it was Jhaveri’s words that proved that this relationship was not just fleeting but deep and long-standing.

AAP leader Pradeep Ghadi Amonkar recalled all the recent drug-related incidents in which the BJP Govt had not acted, from multiple drug-fueled parties in North Goa, to the ketamine raid at the factory of BJP’s North Goa General Secretary, to the infamous Atala enjoying complete freedom, and the recent entry of Roy Naik into the party fold. Concluding that BJP’s politics was majorly funded by drug money, Amonkar charged that inaction in all these cases proved that CM and Home Minister Pramod Sawant was the kingpin.

Naik demanded the resignation of the CM Pramod Sawant, stating that his Govt has no moral right to continue in power. Referring to a “secret report” containing names of police and politicians involved in Goa’s drug trade, sent by Siolim MLA Vinod Palyekar to PM Modi a few months ago, Naik appealed to the Hon. Governor Shri Satya Pal Malik to follow up with the PMO and make the contents of the report public.
