Porvorim: Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik said that government is conscious about Mahadayi issue which affects ever Goan.
The Governor was addressing the session of the House.
He said “Government is conscious about Mahadayi, an issue which is affects every Goan. Water dispute is about sharing water. Efforts of my government is to prevent water diversion outside river basin. The tribunal gave its award. Goa requested for a clarification from the tribunal. Goa has also filed SLP in SC, besides filing necessary contempt proceeding before SC.”
