Goan doctors from USA donate oxygen concentrators for their hometown healthcare centres

A group of Goan Doctors in the USA has extended their humanitarian support by generously donating oxygen concentrators to the needy patients back home in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Krishnakant Raikar, Dr. Deepak Kamat, Dr. Nelson D’Silva, Dr. Suresh D’Mello, Dr. Glynis Vashi, Dr. Jyoti Walwalkar among others, who graduated from Goa Medical College in 1972, handed over the concentartors to the Indian Medical Association Goa chapter last week.

They were sent from Oak Brooke, Illinois in United States. Indian Medical Association State office decided to distribute all these oxygen concentrators in all its seven Branches where in it will be provided for needy in the state in present COVID pandemic and even for future use. They can be obtained from the office bearers of seven Branches on use and return basis.

Indian Medical Association Goa Chapter whole heartedly appreciates the noble gesture by these Goan doctors in the United States and expressed their deepest gratitude for this timely help.
