Panaji: Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Digambar Kamat on Saturday said that all potholes across the state will be repaired within the next 15 days, assuring motorists of safer and smoother roads.
Kamat said the PWD has already started repair works in several parts of Goa and is monitoring the progress to ensure timely completion. He said all potholes across Goa will be fixed within the next 15 days, and the department has already initiated repair works. Motorists will soon see smoother, safer roads throughout the state.
The minister added that the government is taking road maintenance seriously and will ensure adequate manpower and materials are deployed to complete the work at the earliest.
According to PWD officials, teams have been instructed to prioritise stretches that face high traffic flow and accident-prone areas.
Kamat’s assurance comes amid rising public complaints over pothole-ridden roads following prolonged rains in the state.
