Panaji: On the World Tourism Day, Goa was awarded as the Best State for Adventure Tourism 2019 and Comprehensive Development of tourism (Rest of India) Award at National Tourism Award ceremony in New Delhi.
The Comprehensive development of tourism award is awarded for State’s outstanding performance in providing amenities, facilities, new activities for tourists visiting the State.
The awards were presented by Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu to the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Tourism Manohar Ajgaonkar and GTDC chairman Dayanand Sopte.
