Panaji: Goa on Saturday reported 139 fresh cases taking the total number of COVID-19 infections in the state to 247073.
As per the State Health Department’s bulletin, 139 new infections were reported on Saturday taking the toll to 2,47,073.
As many as 77 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day on Saturday, taking the count of recoveries to 2,42,507, while the death toll remained at 3,833 with no new deaths, the official said.
The state now has 733 active cases, he said.
At least 1182 swab samples were tested on Saturday, taking the total number of tests carried out in the state to 19,67,801.
