Panaji: Goa on Wednesday reported 118 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection, while five people succumbed to the virus.
As per health department bulletin, a total of 118 people were tested positive on Wednesday taking the toll to 2,44,405.
Five persons died due to infection during the day, after which the death toll has touched 3782.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 239015 with 259 of them getting discharged on Wednesday.
“With 2725 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 18,59,313,” he added.
