Goa received no results for COVID-19 samples on Saturday

Panaji: Goa received no result of sample sent for testing at National Institute of Virology laboratory at Pune, leaving the total number of patients tested positive for COVID-19 infection to three.

As per the bulletin issued by State Health Department, none of the test reports were received by State government on Saturday.

State government is waiting for the test results of 59 samples which were sent for testing at Pune, the health department official said.

The official said that 29 patients are admitted in isolation ward of Goa medical college and hospital.

While chief minister Pramod Sawant during a press conference said that 798 people are home quarantined in the state, the medical bulletin issued by Directorate of Health services claimed that ten are under home quarantine.
