Goa Police in Touch With Central Agencies for Deportation of Luthra Brothers

Panaji: Goa Police is in continuous coordination with the central agencies over the deportation procedure of Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra, who are wanted in connection with the Birch by Romeo Lane, Arpora nightclub fire case.

A senior officer from Goa Police said that the state police have recorded the statements of 50 people in connection with the incident that occurred on Saturday, killing 25 people.

“The deportation procedures of the Luthra brothers are currently under process, and Goa Police is in continuous coordination with the central agencies,” he said.

The officer said that Goa Police is conducting the investigation meticulously, gathering all possible evidence against the accused.

He said that over 50 statements have been recorded so far from persons connected with this incident, which includes officials, workers, and victims.

Meanwhile, he said that the police custody of one of the accused, Bharat Kohli, which expired on Friday, was extended by another six days.
