Panaji: Goa Police on Thursday arrested two accused Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi in the murder case of BJP leader Sonali Phogat.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Mapusa) Jivba Dalvi said that both the accused have been arrested under the charges of murder.
“Anjuna police have arrested police arrested Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi in connection with the murder,” he said.
Both the accused were named by Sonali’s brother, Rinku Dhaka in his complaint before Anjuna Police on Wednesday. The postmortem conducted on the body of Sonali had revealed that there were multiple blunt injuries on her body.
