State BJP President Vinay Tendulkar said that the meeting is currently underway in New Delhi and Amit Shah has already started consultation.
“Goa is not part of the meeting since Chief Minister is in the hospital,” he said.
The Lok Sabha elections are due in 2019 and BJP is making all efforts to retain its power at the Centre. In Goa too, it has won both the seats in 2014 elections. Parrikar’s health is something that is worrying the part in the State ahead of crucial polls.
Parrikar, who was admitted in Lilavati on August 23 owing to ill health, is returning back to Goa tomorrow. Earlier this month, chief Minister was on two-week long USA visit for his health review. He had
arrived in the state on August 22 evening.
