Panaji: Goa Legislative Assembly on Monday unanimously congratulated PM Narendra Modi and the Armed Forces for the success of “Operation Sindoor”.
The 15-day monsoon session of the Goa assembly began on Monday. The House passed various congratulatory resolutions, including one hailing PM Modi and the Armed Forces for Operation Sindoor.
The House adopted a resolution congratulating PM Modi for his inspirational leadership and the armed forces for the stupendous success of the ‘Operation Sindoor’
The ‘Operation Sindoor’ was initiated on May 7 this year in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent people.
The House will also congratulated Pope Leo XIV for being chosen to lead the Roman Catholic Church.
On Monday, in a series of obituaries, the House condoled death of former Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani, who died in the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad last month.
The session which began on Monday will culminate on August 8.
