Vasco: For the first time in Goa, the BITS BioCyTiH Foundation (BBF) is organizing a Techno-Entrepreneurship event: Goa
Innovation & Startup Times (GIST-23), with the aim of enhancing Goa’s startup and technology ecosystem. BITS BioCyTiH Foundation is a Sec. 8 Co established by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani with the
support of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Foundation is spread across the three campuses of BITS Pilani – Pilani campus, KK Birla Goa campus, and Hyderabad campus. BBF works in the
broad areas of healthcare, agriculture, water and Environment and primarily leverages the cyber physical system (CPS) platforms.
GIST-23 is our flagship event, designed to inspire, educate, and foster creativity among participants, delving into the latest trends. The event shall be graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant, and attended by senior officials of the Govt., Academicians, Industry professionals, Innovators, Startups, Investors and Students.

The organisers said that they are set to host over 400 participants, featuring a diverse array of speakers, along with startups and researchers showcasing their technology and women entrepreneurs. GIST-23 shall feature a major
empowerment and entrepreneurship track (GEET).
