Panaji: Goa government will write to the Union Home Ministry urging to hand over the investigation into Sonali Phogat death case to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Monday.
Sawant told reporters that State Police have done tremendously good investigation in this case and also have got some clues.
“But owing to the demand of Haryana locals and also Sonali Phogat’s daughter, we have decided to write to the Union Home ministry to hand over this case to CBI,” Sawant said.
The chief minister said that his government will immediately write letter to the Union Home ministry. “I will personally write letter to the Union Home ministry,” he said.
