Panaji: Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Monday confirmed the cases of black fungus amongst the COVID-19 positive patients, who are admitted in Goa Medical College and Hospital.
Rane said that the team of expert doctors are treating these cases at the Goa Medical College and Hospital.
On Monday evening, Rane tweeted “Pertaining to cases of Black Fungus reported at GMC, I would like to mention that our team headed by Dr Bandekar (Dean of GMCH) are treating them with the best and appropriate treatment protocol. We are also in touch with expert doctors in the country to see howbest we can deal with this.”
“I have been chairing various meetings along with our doctors, experts and we are confident that we will succeed in dealing with the complications of covid-19 and also bring down the mortalities in the state of Goa,” he said in the following tweet.
