Panaji: Following summons issued by Panaji police asking him to remain present for investigation in the case related to locking of the State mines department, Goa Foundation’s Director Claude Alvares has gone for anticipatory bail.
“Alvares was summoned for the investigation this evening. But we came to know that he has moved to the court for anticipatory bail,” a senior Panaji Police official said.
The bail has been moved before District and Sessions Court in Panaji.
