Margao: Goa Forward Party on Friday held its State Executive Committee meeting which decided to strengthen its base across all the 40 Assembly constituencies in the state.
GFP General Secretary (Organisation) Durgadas Kamat said that the meeting was held at party’s office at Fatorda in South Goa.
Party chief Vijai Sardesai chaired the meeting which was attended by all the state executive committee members.
Kamat said that the meeting decided to strengthen the party in all the 40 Assembly constituencies. “We have decided to concentrate in all the 40 constituencies as we are the only alternative to BJP in the state,” he said adding that the GFP is the party with regional aspirations.
Kamat said that the party has also decided to expose State government over its failures. “We will not just raise the issues but will also take them to the logical conclusions,” he said.
The GFP leader said that the party is a voice of common people in the state who are facing lot of injustice from the current BJP-led government.
