Goa Congress Legislative Party moves resolution to merge in BJP

Panaji:  Congress Legislative Party (CLP) in Goa on Wednesday passed a resolution to merge in the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Party sources stated that Leader of Opposition Michael Lobo moved the resolution on Wednesday in presence of seven other MLAs. The resolution was seconded by former chief minister and MLA Digambar Kamat.

Soon after passing the resolution, a picture of all the eight MLAs meeting chief minister Pramod Sawant was circulated on the social media.

The picture showed Lobo, Kamat along with Delilah Lobo, Rajesh Phaldesai, Kedar Naik, Sankalp Amonkar, Aleixo Sequeira and Rudolf Fernandes interacting with the chief minister.
