Goa CM Reviews Progress of GoVAN Project at 4th CPSMC Meeting

Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Tuesday chaired the 4th meeting of the Central Project Steering and Management Committee (CPSMC) of the GoVAN Project at Mantralaya, Porvorim.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the overall progress of the project, assessed ongoing initiatives, and discussed the roadmap for future implementation. Teams from the Foundation for Integrated Development and Research (FIDR) and GoVAN made detailed presentations on key interventions focused on strengthening nutrition support, community development, and welfare measures at the grassroots level.

Dr. Sawant reiterated that the Government of Goa is committed to improving last-mile service delivery to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes effectively reach the intended beneficiaries. He emphasised that the GoVAN Project continues to play a crucial role in enhancing nutrition outcomes and uplifting vulnerable communities across the state.
