Goa CM Pramod Sawant meets PM Narendra Modi in Delhi

New Delhi: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday met and interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

Chief minister’s office in a statement released here has said that Sawant met the PM in New Delhi on Monday and congratulated him on taking oath as the Prime Minister of India for a third consecutive term and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.

“CM stated that during the interaction he sought Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji’s guidance and support to build a Viksit Goa under the ambitious vision of Viksit Bharat 2047,” the press release mentions.

During his Delhi visit on Monday, Sawant also met the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare and BJP National President J P Nadda.

“CM congratulated him on assuming the charge as Union Minister in the Health Ministry, and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure,” the press statement reads.

Sawant also met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi.

“CM extended him an invitation to inaugurate the 6 Lane Link Road Connecting National Highway 66 to Manohar International Airport, Mopa and to lay the Foundation Stone for the 4 Lane Connectivity Road from MES College Junction to Bogmalo Junction in South Goa,” he said.
