Panaji: Goa chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday evening helped a tourist who had met with an accident at Zuari bridge, 10 kms away from here.
The video that went viral shows Sawant getting down from his car to help a lady tourist who had fallen on Zuari bridge from a two wheeler after meeting with the accident.
Sawant who is a doctor by profession was seen advising the tourist, who had a fall on Zuari bridge.
Eye witnesses revealed that the accident happened when tourist who was travelling on a bike lost their control on Zuari bridge. “The chief minister who was passing by that side stopped to help the tourist,” he said.
The tourist was later shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital at Bambolim, which was situated nearly six kilometers from the spot.
