In a post on his X handle, Sawant wrote: Deeply saddened by the loss of lives in a blast in Delhi. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.
On Monday evening, a car bombing occurred near the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi, killing at least ten people and injuring twenty-four others. According to Delhi Police, the blast triggered a fire that damaged multiple nearby vehicles, including cars and auto-rickshaws.
