Goa Board invites public suggestion to revamp its 4-decade old Act

Panaji: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has invited public suggestions and inputs to revamp its four-decade old Goa Board Act 1975.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Board has said that GBSHSE was established in the year 1975, thus completing almost 43 years.
Board has further said that Many chapters, Articles which were incorporated in this Act in the year 1975 are outdated.
“Now the Board has decided to revamp the whole act and rules,” it said.
Goa Board has constituted a committee under chairmanship of former law secretary Pramod Kamat.
The Board has appealed to all the stake holders and public to send their valuable suggestions, opinion etc., to the Board within 30 days. The inputs can be mailed to  chairman-gbshse.goa@nic.insec-gbshse.goa@nic.in
“The committee may incorporate suitable suggestions while revamping the Board’s Act and Rules,” the Board said.
