Panaji: BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Sunday announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
Tanavade had been touring the state as a part of party’s outreach program ahead of upcoming Goa Legislative Assembly election.
The BJP leader tweeted “I wish to inform everyone that, eearlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself and have sought necessary medical care on doctor’s advice, and luckily I am doing fine. Thank you so much for being so supportive.”
