Mopa: GMR Goa International Airport has today added one more airline to list of domestic airlines operating from it. Today at 12:30 hour the first Vistara flight UK0514 from Bengaluru landed at GMR Goa International Airport.
In the initial phase Vistara will commence two departures per day from GMR Goa International Airport.
With this addition, now five airlines viz. IndiGo, Go First, Akasa, Spicejet & Vistara have started domestic flight operations to and from GMR Goa International Airport.
As of today this New Airport connects Goa to 11 destinations with direct to & fro flights Viz. Delhi, Mumbai Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata & Pune.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO-GGIAL, Mr. R. V. Sheshan said, “Today we welcome our new airline partner. Gradual & constant growth in the number of passengers, partners and stakeholders since the launch, reiterate the confidence our partners have in us. Within 26 days of launch, more than 1.5 lakh passengers used our new state-of-the-art airport & the airport witnessed over 1100 Air traffic movement.
