Panaji: Girls outperformed boys in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination with passing percentage of 90.49 percent while boys stood at 88.69 percent.
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary (GBSHS) today announced SSC results with 91.27 percent students passing this year.
The Girls passing percentage was 90.49 percent (9133) while boys were at 86.69 percent (9009).
As many as 78 schools secured 100 percent results, which include 57 aided and 21 government schools.
Board said that total 8451 students availed sports marks out of which 376 students passed due to these marks.
The certificates would be available for the schools on Monday, which would be later distributed to students.
