Margao: Goa Forward Party Chief and TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai termed the press conference of Congress Goa President Girish Chodankar as “konkani speaking Marathi drama.”
Sardesai left no stone unturned to criticize Chodankar for his press conference which had targeted amendment to TCP Act.
The minister claimed that Chodankar is upset because he was exposed about his lack of knowledge about Opinion Poll Day.
“Chodankar has been upset because that day I exposed on opinion poll day for not knowing history of the poll. He is one of the element who has travelled into Congress from MGP. He has been doing chaplusi,” Sardesai said.
“I had exposed him… We don’t want people like him to be created. That is the reason why we have decided to include history of Opinion Poll in the syllabus,” Sardesai taunted.
“His press conference was like “Konkani speaking Marathi drama.” He is reader not a leader. Someone, may be Timble, some lawyer or Buyao must have given him written text, which he was reading,” he added.
Sardesai said that Chodankar was ignorant about Town and Country Planning Act.
“He does not know anything about town and country planning act. He speaks about adjourned meeting. I have a list from 2001 till date, Prakash Fadte had 99th meeting and ours was 163rd meeting.”
“Digambar Kamat had 137th meeting adjourned the meeting for six months. He should ask Digambar Kamat why it was then adjourned,” he said.
