Dona Paula: Goa Forward Party’s women delegation led by Dr Renuka Dennis Da Silva called on Governor P S Sreedhran Pillai taking up the issue of Anganwadi workers who are protesting at Azad Maidan.
GFP leader Pooja Naik who was part of the delegation said that the chief minister Pramod Sawant had assured to solve the demands of Anganwadi workers before the election.
She said that the chief minister suddenly changed his stand and suspended a group of Anganwadi workers.
Naik said that the chief minister can take the credit but should give justice to these striking anganwadi workers.
