Panaji: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will not be coming to Goa on December 10, delaying the inauguration of Khandepar bridge. PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said that the bridge would be inaugurated before the Goa Liberation Day.
“I have received communication from Gadkari’s office that he has a meeting in the national capital on December 10. Also, due to his health conditions, he will not be able to come to Goa,” Dhavalikar said.
Gadkari had fainted during a public function at Ahmednagar on Friday apparently due to drop in his sugar level. The minister later took on to twitter to announce that he is doing well.
Dhavalikar said that the inauguration bridge has been postponed and fresh date would be announced later.
