Kare College of Law won Second Place at the First All Goa Youth Gram Sabha Competition 2023 and Third Place in First All Goa Quiz Competition organized by GIPARD. The competition was organized in lieu of Good Governance Day observed every year.
Team of students consisting of Mr. Ashish Kelkar and Mr. Vedant Pawar (4th year BALLB) secured Third Place in the First All Goa Quiz Competition organized by GIPARD on the theme ‘Good Governance.’
In All Goa Youth Gram Sabha Competition, the team of students consisting of 30 participants competed against 16 teams from colleges all over Goa and depicted outstanding leadership and communication skills.
The competition was conducted in two stages – Preparatory stage and Performance stage.
Preparatory stage comprised of making video about the first stage of gram sabha meeting i.e. preparation of Agenda and publication of notice which carried a total of 30 points.
Performance stage consisted of 70 points wherein the team showcased how Gram Sabha is actually conducted. The team scored 88 points out of 100.
The team also won individual prizes –
1. Best Presiding Officer – Ms. Siddhi Naik
2. Best Video – Elijah Carneiro
3. Best script – GR Kare college of law
