Dona Paula: Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai has said that the new Mandovi bridge should be inaugurated first before diverting traffic for new Zuari bridge.
Sardesai was speaking to reporters after attending State cabinet meeting this evening which was chaired by CM Manohar Parrikar.
“Third Mandovi bridge should be inaugurated and only after that the road diversion for Zuari bridge should be taken up,” the minister said adding that the people of South Goa should not be made to suffer.
“The people should first feel the benefit of construction of Mandovi bridge. Our view is that the festive season is on and people would be put to inconvenience,” he said.
