Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has praised the efforts of the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) for its ongoing crackdown on unhygienic and harmful food products. He confirmed that the drive will continue with full momentum.
“The FDA has been directed to continue the drive. I am very happy with the work done by Director Shweta Desai, Designated Officer Richard Noronha, and the entire team,” Rane said.
“Excellent work has been carried out. The team has been given a clear mandate to ensure that food safety standards are enforced and carcinogenic substances are eliminated from food items. This is essential to protect public health and ensure that people fall in line,” he added.
