Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today announced that the traders from Goa exporting fish outside the State will also have to comply with the guidelines set by Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
The traders exporting fish will have to obtain food transport license, FDA registration and transportation license and use of insulated vehicles.
“If we are making some rules or guidelines mandatory for traders outside Goa, then the same rules need to be made applicable for those exporting the fish outside Goa. Law is equal to everybody,” Rane said.
