Panaji: Pascal Fernandes, an entrepreneur and social worker from Corlim, officially joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa.
Pascal, who is an active member of Jaycees, Lions Club, IMC, and is associated with ITI Altinho, Panjim, announced his decision during a press interaction in Panjim.
Speaking at the joining, Pascal Fernandes said:
“AAP is the only party fighting against the BJP. This is the first time I am joining any political party. AAP has consistently worked for the larger good of the people, and that is what motivates me to join the party.”
AAP Working President and National Spokesperson Valmiki Naik, who welcomed Pascal into the party, said:
“People entering politics for the first time and joining AAP is a symbol of our intent and dedication to the betterment of Goa.”
Also present was AAP Joint Secretary Manoj Ghadi Amonkar, who said Pascal’s entry will further strengthen AAP’s presence in Corlim.
