Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner has accused Goa police not to cooperate with them in connection with the investigation in narcotics cases.
The commissioner told mediapersons in Hyderabad that they wanted to arrest Edwin Nunes, but Goa police did not cooperate with them.
Hyderabad police earlier had arrested Anjuna based drug peddler Preetesh Borkar. The commissioner said that Edwin was the boss of Preetesh.
He said that Hyderabad police team had gone to Goa to arrest Edwin and Preetesh. They found Preetesh but could not arrest Edwin.
“Goa police did not cooperate. Whenever we communicate with them, we get negative results. We don’t get whom we are searching. We are openly saying that Goa police are not cooperating,” he commented.
