Calangute police have registered one more crime against the accused Nigerian National Mr. Frank S/o Nathaneil, age 32 yrs, R/o Calangute N/o on 19/11/2018 for illegally staying in Goa – India.
The above accused person was arrested yesterday in a major narcotic raid conducted by Calangute police
As per PI Jivba Dalvi after the arrest of accused he was interrogated about his passport and visa during which he informed that he was not in possession of any passport , visa or any travel document.
Accordingly he was booked for offence under section 3(2)(a) and 6(a) of Passport Entry into India Rules, section 6(a) of Passport Act, section 7(3)(iii) of Foreigners Order act 1946 R/w Section 14 of Foreigners Act. Information is being sought from FRRO. Panaji asking for details from the Nigerian embassy.
Police have moved a request letter of transfer warrant to the court for seeking the custody of the accused person again.
