Margao: BJP Goa spokesman Savio Rodrigues has said that no one has issue with someone converting willfully but the issue is forced conversion.
He was referring to the arrest of a pastor Domnick by Mapusa police which has kicked off a debate over religious conversions.
“My view on Domnic DSouza and Joan illegal conversion case: No one has an issue with someone converting willfully. The issue is forced conversions, conversions by allurements and coercive conversions. Also important is the continuous demonizing of Hindu religion to sell Christian God.”
