Margao: Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat has paid tributes to noted educationist Fr Romualdo D’Souza on his demise on Friday.

Tributes to noted educationist Padmashri Fr. Romualdo D’Souza. The pioneer of “Wellness Counselling” will always be remembered for his untiring efforts enhancing the educational standards of Goa. His passing away has created a void in educational field. May his soul rest in peace
Fr. Romualdo D’Souza was the founder of the three landmark institutions; Goa Institute of Management, The Xavier Centre for Historical Reserach, Porvorim and The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhuvaneshwar. He also pioneered the “Wellness Counselling” which will help people to face challenges of todays highly competitive world.
He created a mark in Management Education without having any formal training. This was possible only because of his hard work & dedication. He always emphasised on giving education and knowledge to students.
His passing away has created a big void in educational field. My condolences to his family, followers and students.
