Panaji: Education department on Friday said that the salary disbursement for the staff of aided schools will not happen for this month as Education department’s GIA division staff has been quarantined.
Director of Education Vandana Rao, in a clarification issued, has said that since ll the staff members of the GIA sections of the Directorate of Education engaged in processing the salary bills of the Aided Schools have been placed under home quarantine, the work of preparation of salary bills has been hampered.
Therefore, it is informed to all concerned that the salary disbursal for the current month is likely to be delayed. Once the staff members rejoin the duties, the salary bills will be processed.
