Daivadnya Samaj Margao Hosts ‘Path to Bright Career’ Program on AI Awareness

Margao, 13 July 2025: Daivadnya Samaj Margao, in collaboration with the Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association, organized a career guidance program titled ‘Path to Bright Career’ at Daivadnya Bhavan, Margao. The session aimed to provide students with a better understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its relevance in shaping future careers.

The event was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Jayesh M. Raikar, Director of Goldy Industries India Pvt. Ltd., along with Miss Tania Shirodkar, Assistant Professor of Management Studies at Dhempe College of Commerce & Economics, and Mrs. Shruti Chodankar, Director of Global Talent Acquisition at CommScope, Verna. Dr. Vipul Mathur, former faculty at IIM Kolkata, joined the function via video conferencing.

More than 90 students from various schools across Goa participated in the session.

Mr. Atul Verlekar, Vice President of Daivadnya Samaj, welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of staying updated with developments in AI. Mrs. Seema Vernekar, President of the Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association, spoke about the value of attending such programs to help students make informed and sustainable career choices.

Miss Tania Shirodkar provided insights into various academic courses available in AI and how they can lead to promising career opportunities. Dr. Vipul Mathur demonstrated practical applications of AI tools in the field of education and guided students on how to effectively use them.

Mrs. Shruti Chodankar highlighted the growing relevance of AI in industry and shared her perspectives on future job prospects driven by technological advancements.

The program witnessed over 170 attendees and was organized under the leadership of Mr. Upendra Madkaikar, Chairman of the Education Cell, Daivadnya Bhavan Margao, along with event coordinator Mr. Prashil Salkar.

The event was hosted by Mrs. Suphala Revankar and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Kishor Revankar, Secretary of Daivadnya Samaj.
